The Award
The All-round Education Award aims at encouraging students of junior forms (S1-S3) to thrive for their very best and demonstrate the school motto of ‘Self-strengthening and continuous improvement’ in all aspects of school life. The Award also paves the way for potential student leaders towards the prestigious title of the Student of the Year in senior forms.
Under the sponsorship of CSWCSS All-round Education Foundation, the awardee will receive a subsidy of up to $20,000 to support self‑initiated school‑based and/or external learning experiences, empowering students to explore their interests and develop their potential throughout their secondary school years.
Selection Criteria
The successful candidate should be an all-rounded student of good character with outstanding academic achievements, active participation in extra-curricular activities and commitment to school and community services. Students who apply for the Award should meet the following requirements:
- A conduct grade of B+ or above in both terms.
- Top 10 % in Form position in his Aggregate Average (Overall).
- A strong record of achievement in voluntary service and extra-curricular activities inside or outside school during the junior secondary year(s).
- Recommendations from TWO teachers of CSWCSS, including one from current year’s Class Teacher
Remark: Previous recipients of the All-round Education Award are not eligible to re-apply.
Application Procedure:
- Application is open from 27 Mar to 24 Apr 2026.
- Application forms can be obtained from the school office or downloaded from the school web page (www.cswcss.edu.hk).
- Fill in all information required, including two teacher recommendations.
- Attach copies of report cards, certificates, awards, and other recognitions and qualifications obtained during the study in CSWCSS for verification.
Selection of the Awardee
A Selection Board will be formed including representatives from various parties (e.g. members from the Incorporated Management Committee, CSWCSS All-round Education Foundation, other stakeholders, contributors to school development and/or external authorities). The board will be responsible for the selection of the Awardee. Applicants will be invited for an interview by the Selection Board in May 2026(dates to be confirmed). The Award for the current year will be suspended if there is no recommendation by the Selection Board.
Announcement of Results
The result of the Award will be officially announced at the Graduation cum Prize-giving Ceremony 2025-2026.
